Holmer Green is a village situated in the Chiltern District of Buckinghamshire.
Recent development has
effectively joined Holmer Green to the larger settlement of Hazlemere which in turn is a suburb of High
Wycombe.
Chiltern District has a housing target of 2900 between 2006 and 2026.
The approximate population of Chiltern District is 90,000 living in 35,300 homes (2001 Census)
In recent years Chiltern Council has approved development of land designated as Green Belt and AONB ( Area
of Outstanding natural Beauty). These sites were at Newlands Park and the Amersham and
Wycombe College.
Chiltern Council has also stated that 600 new homes will have to be built in Villages.
